A source close to Camilla’s official dresser shared with Express that Camilla made an unusual request regarding Princess Kate and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh. All three prefer wearing blue for royal duties, but Camilla has the final say on this.

Queen Camilla, holding the highest rank, dictates these decisions. Jacqui Meakin, Camilla’s dresser, stirred things up at the Palace with strict rules about who can wear which colors, especially blue.

Initially, Camilla was very strict, but eventually, she allowed Kate and Sophie to wear blue as long as their outfits were distinctively different.

“The Queen selects her outfits before other royal women,” the insider noted. “This hierarchy extends to attire and color choices. Blue is a favorite color for Her Majesty, Kate, and Sophie.”
