An Australian reality TV celebrity became widely known after admitting to sleeping with more than 700 men. She later acknowledged her struggle with an addiction.

Belinda “Love” Rygier, who was on The Bachelor Australia in 2017, said there was a time when she sought out intimate relations nearly every night of the week.

Although the number of men she has been with may shock some, the 38-year-old eventually entered a recovery program after realizing she had a serious issue to address.

Discussing one’s experiences is not easy for everyone, and most people don’t typically boast about the number of partners they’ve had.

However, for Rygier, disclosing her total number of partners was part of her journey to overcome her addiction. She mentioned having slept with at least 700 men, though the exact number remains uncertain.

In 2022, she spoke on the You’re a Grub Mate! radio show, revealing she had been in recovery for eight years and had maintained celibacy for 15 months.

Rygier discovered her problem when she healed. She believed unresolved trauma from her past contributed to her addiction.

She described herself as a high-functioning addict with a successful career, appearing normal on the outside.

Rygier, who gained fame from The Bachelor Australia, is not embarrassed about her past. She used to seek out partners up to six times a week.

She felt that men were adept at saying what she wanted to hear, and her actions were more about feeling attractive and loved than about the encounters themselves.

Currently, Rygier practices celibacy and believes people often engage in physical relations for the wrong reasons today.

She criticized modern society’s use of intercourse for quick validation. Rygier plans to have it again, but only with someone she feels genuinely connected to.
