Dancing has always brought me joy and many great memories. Over time, different types of dances have evolved or faded. Yet, some have kept a strong presence. One such dance from the 1950s, “The Stroll,” deserves a comeback.
What is “The Stroll”?
If you were around in the late 1950s, you might know “The Stroll.” It became famous on the show American Bandstand. Its simplicity made it popular; everyone could join in.
In this dance, boys and girls formed two lines, creating a walkway. Couples would then strut down this path, meeting in the middle. The coordinated moves that followed captivated all who watched.
