Tristan Weigelt, a 26-year-old who is learning the art of tattooing, recently shared his transformation from an ink-free individual to someone whose body is nearly covered in tattoos. The photos of him before his transformation are pretty surprising.

Weigelt started his tattoo journey at the age of 20, and now, 95% of his body is adorned with tattoos. “Looking at old pictures of me without tattoos feels strange,” he shared with the Daily Star. “But the funny thing is, I still feel the same on the inside.”

Among his many tattoos, the ones on his face and head were the most intense. He described the experience as if someone was scrubbing him with a metal brush. “Imagine spending six full days, with each session lasting about five to six hours, and the pain hitting an eight on a scale of ten,” he said.

Unlike many who choose tattoos with deep personal meanings, Weigelt says his body art doesn’t carry hidden messages. It’s all about the art for him.

Over five years, Weigelt has invested a whopping $50,000 in his tattoos, turning his body into a canvas of his passions and interests.
