More than ten years ago, during season three of “Britain’s Got Talent,” Susan Boyle amazed music fans around the globe.

Millions of people have seen the video of her first audition. She stood nervously in front of Simon Cowell and sang “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Misérables. She seemed shy and reserved, but her voice stunned everyone.

Health Changes

People with Type 2 diabetes either don’t produce enough insulin or their bodies don’t respond to it properly.

After receiving the diagnosis, the Scottish singer decided to make major lifestyle changes. Susan still lives in the same house where she grew up, but her habits are different now.

She told The Mirror at the time, “I have to stop eating sweets and cakes.” She admitted, “It’s so hard for me.”

By June 2019, Susan revealed she had lost 28 pounds. She said she felt much better and was proud of herself. Speaking to UK TV host Lorraine Kelly, she explained, “Sometimes I needed support, and I wasn’t afraid to ask for help.”
