POWER MOVE BY PRINCE WILLIAM: Meghan BANNED From Wearing Princess Diana’s Jewelry

Sources reveal Prince William banned Meghan Markle from wearing any of Princess Diana’s jewelry.

With the ongoing rift between Prince Harry and his brother William catching public attention, it was reported that Meghan Markle wearing Princess Diana’s jewelry might have worsened the situation.

During the promotion of his book, Catherine, the Princess of Wales: The Biography, a royal reporter shared with the DailyMail that William was worried about Harry’s relationship with Meghan early on. He asked the late Queen Elizabeth II to tell the actress from Suits to avoid wearing her jewelry.

“Still uneasy about Harry’s choice,” Jobson noted, “William made sure from the Queen that his brother’s fiancée wouldn’t get to wear any jewelry from Diana’s collection, although his own wife Catherine had access to it, based on her status.”

Jobson also mentioned that the relationship between Prince William and Prince Harry was already souring even before Meghan Markle came into the picture. Yet, Harry and Meghan’s relationship was moving quicker than William preferred. He suggested, “Meghan should have more time to get used to the royal lifestyle” before any engagement or wedding took place.

“Harry took this as a slight,” Jobson added. “Consequently, his bond with his brother quickly worsened. In Harry’s autobiography Spare, he claims William physically confronted him.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle began their relationship in late 2016. They were engaged by November 2017 and wed in May 2018. Though Meghan wore a tiara from Queen Mary, she did not wear any specific pieces from Diana’s collection.

In early 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan stepped back from royal responsibilities.

Additionally, several royal insiders claimed that when Meghan moved into Nottingham Cottage with Prince Harry, she was “surprised” by how differently Harry’s brother lived.

“I’m not suggesting Meghan was envious,” one insider clarified. “However, she was shocked at the much more luxurious life William led compared to theirs. This might have sparked some initial discord between the two couples.”

The insider did mention that Meghan understood Prince William’s direct role in the line of succession. She thought, however, that Harry, given his royal position, should have had more than he did.
