Former and future First Lady Melania Trump made an appearance at Mar-a-Lago’s New Year’s Eve festivities alongside President-elect Donald Trump and billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk. As the hit song “YMCA” filled the air, the incoming president stole the spotlight with his signature “Trump dance,” while Melania added her own spin to the routine.

Social media users were quick to share their thoughts on the trending video, praising Melania’s poise and beauty. The well-known X page, FLOTUS Report, posted the footage, captioning it, “BREAKING: Melania Trump unveils her personalized YMCA Trump dance at last night’s New Year’s Eve celebration at Mar-a-Lago 😂 Such an exciting evening! President Trump and her father, Viktor, by her side. Pure joy ❤️”

Investor Daniel Gabai weighed in on the high-energy event, emphasizing Melania’s moves on the dance floor. “Seeing Melania do the YMCA dance is an unexpected yet oddly perfect way to begin 2025. Who would have thought elegance and disco could go together so well? Mar-a-Lago looked like the place to be last night,” he remarked.

Several others joined in on the discussion, with one commenter saying, “I absolutely love seeing Melania enjoying herself. I’ve never seen her so expressive before—dancing and singing along. Go Melania! You are the most wonderful First Lady.” Another person added, “Melania Trump was treated so unfairly during her first term as First Lady. She is stunning, elegant, and incredibly smart. I have so much respect for her!” A different commenter wrote, “It makes me happy to see Melania having a good time. The Trumps truly show what it means to enjoy life, and it’s telling that this seems to bother liberals.”

The American Tribune also covered a recent interview in which Melania appeared on Fox News Channel’s Fox & Friends. During the segment, she addressed her husband’s widely recognized “Trump dance,” which gained traction on social media after the 2024 election, as conservatives celebrated his significant victory over Vice President Kamala Harris.

Fox News co-host Steve Doocy asked Melania, “Since he was elected, and over the past few months, we’ve noticed a sense of calmness and perhaps gratitude. But there’s something else—he seems much more relaxed and cheerful. Just last night at the Patriot Awards, we saw a clip of him doing the Trump dance. I’m sure you’ve seen how it has evolved. How would you describe your husband’s dance style?”

With a smile, Melania responded, “Oh, it’s a very special and distinctive dance.” She continued, “I believe many people are imitating it, and everyone is having a great time with it.”

Doocy then asked if she had ever attempted the dance herself. “Is this how you dance?” She quickly answered, “No.” He pressed further, “Did you offer him any advice on it?” In a playful but firm manner, she simply repeated, “No.” Finally, when asked once more, “Have you ever done the Trump dance? You are Mrs. Trump, after all,” she firmly stated, “I did not.”
