A few years after Barack Obama said that Drake could do anything he wanted, the Canadian rapper was seen partying with his two daughters.

Malia and Sasha Obama were at a Hollywood hotspot with Drake, dressed in revealing outfits. Malia showed her midriff, while Sasha wore a daring top.

Living in the White House must have been hard for Malia and Sasha Obama, who were just regular girls wanting to enjoy life.

Malia, born on July 4, 1998, and Sasha, born on June 10, 2001, are the daughters of former President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.

They lived at the famous 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue from 2009 to 2017, constantly under public scrutiny.

“They were watched. They had to figure out how to handle the attention, but politely.

To create their own path while being in the spotlight,” Michelle Obama said on the podcast *Moments that Make Us* with Melinda French Gates.

She added, “Those girls needed to be smart, confident, and independent, even while living in a house with staff.

But I was preparing them, knowing they wouldn’t stay with me forever. I had to give them their life and let them manage it.”

Malia

In 2014, when Malia was preparing for prom, Barack Obama found it hard to accept that his daughter had grown up.

“I think it’s fair to say that seeing your daughter in heels for the first time is a bit shocking,” he said on *Live with Kelly & Michael*. “She’s lovely. She’s beautiful.”

After graduating high school in 2016, Malia took a gap year before attending Harvard University, where she graduated in 2021.

During her gap year, Malia worked in the entertainment industry. She was a production assistant on Halle Berry’s show *Extant* and a writer on the Amazon series *Swarm*.

In 2024, Malia made her directorial debut at the Sundance Film Festival with her short film *Heart*, which she wrote and directed under the name Malia Ann.

Sasha

Barack described Sasha as “full of energy and the comedian of the family” in an interview with *People* in 2008.

After graduating high school in 2019, Sasha started her studies at the University of Michigan. During the pandemic, she learned online.

At 23, Sasha graduated from the University of Southern California in May 2023 with a degree in sociology.

The sisters now live together in Los Angeles.

“It feels good to know that the two girls you raised are happy at a kitchen table with each other. That’s what you want for them,” Michelle shared.

All Grown Up

Malia and Sasha also enjoy partying together.

Photos showed the sisters dancing the night away with Drake at The Bird Streets Club in Los Angeles. Both were dressed for the event.

Sasha showed off her figure in a black cropped corset and loose cargo pants, with open-toe shoes.

Her braids were styled in a high ponytail, and she accessorized with earrings, a necklace, and rings.

Malia matched her sister’s vibe with a sheer lace-up top and high-waisted trousers that fit her perfectly.

She wore her long brown hair down and completed her look with chunky boots.

Reports say the girls partied at the Hollywood club until 4 a.m. before leaving with friends.

Obamas and Rap Royalty

Drake, who has mutual admiration for the Obamas, was in Los Angeles for his “It’s All A Blur Big As The What?” tour at the Crypto.com arena.

The rapper has previously expressed interest in playing Barack Obama in a biopic.

“I hope someone makes a movie about Obama’s life soon because I could play him,” Drake said in 2010.

In 2020, Obama commented on the idea.

“I will say this, Drake seems to be able to do anything he wants,” Barack said when asked about the rapper portraying him.

“He’s a talented guy. So, if the time comes and he’s ready…”

He added, “Drake has, more importantly, my household’s approval. I’m sure Malia and Sasha would be fine with it.”
