Actor Hugh Laurie was seen walking his beloved dog in the sunshine. He seemed less energetic than usual.

For his new sitcom’s premiere, “Why Didn’t They Ask Evans?”, Hugh dressed warmly in black trousers and sneakers, a navy sweater, and a dark blue hat.

The 62-year-old actor, famous for his roles in “House” and “Blackadder,” is now working on a murder mystery based on Agatha Christie’s 1934 novel of the same name.

Hollywood’s big names will feature in this intriguing adaptation of one of Christie’s famous works.

In the movie, Will Poulter plays Bobby Jones, the vicar’s son, and Lucy Boynton is Lady Frances Derwent, his daring friend. They team up to solve a mysterious murder.

Jim Broadbent and Emma Thompson play the distinguished parents of Lady Frances Marcham.

In the series, Hugh portrays Dr. James Nicholson, a psychologist, and also directs the show.

He was thrilled to take on this project, having been a fan of the novel and its captivating mystery since his teenage years, which still grabs his interest.

Hugh felt very lucky to write and direct another tale about these incredible characters, a project he deeply cherishes.

Determined to match the cast’s efforts, he aimed to look sharp and perform at his best.
