Attacked online for pecking his young son on the lips – his reply is bold

Criticized for kissing his five-year-old son on the lips, Tom, a father from northern England, will not back down from the critics who claim he’s confusing his child.

With simple logic and humor, Tom defends his actions, supported by Roman who boldly tells the critical users, “you are all crazy!”

He often posts videos on TikTok, drawing attention from followers who admire his blue eyes, accent, toned and tattooed physique, and his love for his sons, Roman, age 5, and Raphael Reign, born in mid-May 2023.

Many of Tom’s TikTok videos are responses to accusations that he’s confusing Roman and exposing him to potential harm from strangers or infections.

Tom remains steadfast.

On June 27, he responded to a comment advising against kissing Roman on the lips.

In his reply, Tom stated he would continue to express his love for his son as long as Roman is comfortable with it. Tom explained, “I find it concerning that it bothers you. I will keep kissing my son on the lips as long as I think it’s okay and as long as he agrees, because I love him deeply and he’s my closest friend. Eventually, he might not want me to, and he might not want to be around me much. So, I’ll keep doing what I’m doing for now.”

Supporters responded positively, with one saying they also share kisses with their kids and grandchildren, and another sharing how they miss kissing their late father.

Tom thanked everyone for their supportive comments, saying, “He’s a very loving boy because we raise him with love.”

A provocative comment about the risks of transmitting bacteria by kissing led Tom to create a humorous response video that received nearly 123,000 likes. Tom joked about the unlikely risk of Roman getting cavities from kisses, and Roman playfully dismissed the idea.

Fans dismissed the cavity claim as ridiculous, with one supporter, who works as a dentist, encouraging Tom to continue being a loving father.

In early July, Tom posted a viral video with Roman on his lap in the car. With nearly 579,000 likes, the video shows Tom reassuring viewers that nothing will change in their relationship. Roman firmly states, “You are all crazy. That’s my daddy!” and they share a kiss.

Supporters defended Tom, praising the father-son bond, and questioning if criticism would be the same if a mother were kissing her son.

Tom responded appreciatively to a comment questioning if the issue arose because he is a man. He noted the double standard and affirmed he would not alter his actions.

In another video, Tom sarcastically addressed a comment that suggested such affection could lead Roman to think kissing strangers is acceptable. Tom humorously countered this logic, joking about teaching Roman the difference between family affection and inappropriate interactions with strangers like “dodgy Barry.”
