For four decades, a woman hid several boxes in the attic without her husband knowing.

She finally let her husband open the boxes after much persuasion. What he found inside shocked her, and she began to cry. Kris Bresnan, a woman from America, kept a secret from her partner for 40 years. The time had come for her husband to see what was in those boxes stored away in the attic.

After falling in love in 1975, the couple decided to take a break from the hectic life of New York City, starting the tale of the boxes.

During a holiday, Kris’s husband Bill gave her a napkin, making her say it was the best thing she ever received and declaring his love. He drew the infinity symbol on it. They spent that day full of laughter and play.

Bill made it a routine to surprise Kris every day with a letter, a love note, or postcards that showed his feelings for her, his most treasured person. He kept this up for forty years.

Kris, not letting on that Bill had been sending her these notes and letters all these years, saved them. She packed them in at least twenty-five big boxes in the attic.

On their 40th wedding anniversary, Kris revealed to her husband why she had always stopped him from going up to the attic.

When he saw the boxes, he was speechless. He had no clue she had saved all his letters there for so long.

Overwhelmed with appreciation for this incredible gesture, he broke down, hugged his wife, and they both cried. That holiday, they read out loud the words Bill had written to Kris over the years in a private setting. They celebrated their 40th anniversary with flair and revisited unforgettable moments.
