This man, standing at 2.36 meters, spent most of his life alone due to his extraordinary height. At 56 years old, he met the love of his life. She was a simple shop assistant, 28 years younger than him, and only 1.68 meters tall. Shortly after their wedding, they became parents to a son. This is what their special child looks like today.

Bao Xishun's life amazes and inspires many people. He was born into an average-sized family. His father was 1.8 meters tall, and his mother was 1.6 meters tall. But fate had something remarkable planned for him. During puberty, Bao experienced a rapid growth spurt. By 15, he was already 1.89 meters tall, and the next year, he grew even taller.

This rare growth made Bao the tallest man in the world at 2.36 meters. Despite his unique height, his life was not easy. When he was young, Bao joined the army, where his height helped him succeed in basketball. Later, he returned home to live a peaceful life as a shepherd. While his height drew attention, it didn’t bring him happiness in his personal life.

Bao stayed single until he turned 56. He dreamed of having a family and placed marriage ads worldwide, hoping to find a partner. One day, his wish came true. Xia Shujuan, a 28-year-old clothing saleswoman, responded to his ad. At 1.68 meters, Xia barely reached Bao’s elbow, but their love was unaffected by their height difference. Out of over 20 women who answered, it was Xia who won Bao’s heart.

They live happily together, defying stereotypes about height differences. Soon after their wedding, they welcomed a healthy baby boy who weighed 4.2 kilograms at birth.
